Design Task

Project Brief
The Patient Dashboard project was designed to revolutionize healthcare management by creating a comprehensive platform that enhances the interaction between healthcare providers and patient data. This project aimed to streamline access to critical information, ensuring that it remains accessible, intuitive, and actionable. The primary goal was to improve the efficiency of healthcare delivery by providing a user-centered interface tailored to the needs of medical professionals.
Problem Statement
Healthcare providers often grapple with fragmented patient information spread across multiple platforms, leading to inefficiencies and potential errors in patient care. The challenge was to consolidate this data into a single, cohesive dashboard that offered a holistic view of patient health, thereby facilitating informed decision-making and improving patient outcomes.
Research
Conducted in-depth research by interviewing real users and reviewed existing systems to identify the challenges associated with managing patient data.
The research helped create detailed user personas, ensuring the design would meet the specific needs of various healthcare roles.
Key Insights
Users were overwhelmed by excessive data, struggled with complicated navigation, and needed more effective ways to visualize patient information. These insights guided the design towards creating a simpler, more intuitive interface that would enhance decision-making and streamline workflows.
Design Process
Began with sketching to explore layout options that prioritized clarity and ease of use. Low-fidelity wireframes were then developed to map out essential features. The prototype was tested with real users, gathering feedback that led to adjustments and refinements, resulting in a user-friendly and efficient patient dashboard.

Reflection and Future Directions
